It was a little tough to find with the instructions provided, but all in all was a great stay. That is an apartment nearby, but not the right place. The studio is behind the Spanish School on calle Hispaniola.
John is a great host and the location is literally perfect mins walking distance to the strip and beach. Allowed me early check in since my flight landed beforehand. Nice gated apartments. Great host will stay again next time I come. John's place is great! The beaches, the supermarkets, bars, clubs, etc. What I especially liked about John's place is that it's private and "tucked away" down a small quiet street and it's gated and locked.
That made us feel extra safe when coming back really late at night. The place was very, very clean and very functional. I never met John but he was expeditious is his responses for anything that you need. She's very nice and very sweet. That was so valuable. She has a school onsite where you can take Spanish lessons for a fee. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Dmytro and Yolanda were great hosts, very friendly and helpful. We brought our dog and the garden was great, and Dmytros dogs were very friendly with our little guy.
The hosts are on site so anything we needed they were there to help. The location is fantastic; The school, Dmytros place and the apartment are all in a gated area which is very safe and supermarkets, restraunts, bars and beaches are all within 5 minute walking distance. It is in the centre of Sosua and is still somehow pretty peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay again! This is a neat little place, very well located, within walking distance of everything you will need here.
It's on a quiet little street, secure, neat and clean. Yolanda and Dymtro will make sure you have everything need to be comfortable. Just ask. Spanish and English lessons are available here. A great low budget, no frills place to crash. The location is fantastic, about a 10 minute walk to almost anything you might need in town 2 main beaches, hundreds of bars and restaurants, liquor stores, money exchange places, bank, ice cream shop, pharmacy, super market, convenient stores, etc I felt safe because I'm familiar with the town, some may not feel secure.
